Youth4Climate Summit 2021
By Greta Thunberg’s side at the Italian hosted Youth4Climate Summit 2021, was Vanessa Nakate from Uganda. Other friends and youth climate protesters from ‘almost 100 countries’ took to the streets in support of her words to drown out undelivered pledges of ‘big-polluting’ countries. Words such as ~ ‘science doesn’t lie’ and ‘a lack of action is a betrayal towards present and future generations’.
< My Thoughts > are that Greta Thunberg is an ‘Asperger’s advocate inspired and driven about climate change. ‘Climate change’ which is occurring and ‘Climate change’ causes, which need to be corrected. Greta’s ability to focus, find and engage friends to help her shine a light on the environment remains amazing.
As an ‘Aspie’, Greta seems to show distinctive strengths in having remarkable focus and persistence to show attention to detail, and an aptitude for recognizing patterns. In this case, she is devoted to new ways to ‘create climate change’. While friendship struggles are part of being an Aspie, Greta gains friends, wherever she goes.
